Lenda Jackson, Account Executive, Strategist, and Community Outreach Consultant, brings more than 20 years of broad public relations experience to the Meaningful Communications team.  With strengths in writing, strategic planning and event coordination, she is committed to using the skills she honed from experiences in the corporate as well as nonprofit arena to make a positive difference in the community and society as a whole.

Prior to joining Meaningful Communications, Lenda managed internal and external communications for several large companies including General Motors Corporation and Michigan Consolidated Gas Company, a natural gas utility.  She also worked in the non profit sector, serving as Director of Development at the ACLU Fund of Michigan and Public Relations Officer at the Museum of African American History.  She also served a short stint in broadcasting as a reporter for a local television station.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from Wayne State University, with a major in Journalism. 

Lenda describes herself as a people person and a team player with a flair for building strong relationships. “I love interacting with people and helping them solve their communication challenges,” she said.  “In my role at Meaningful Communications I hope to do just that!”
